Our company Pop.Co counselled by Brolaine & Gore Mutual Insurance was founded and created in October 2005. Since the first
production line and first week on the market it has proven to be a success, as our company of only 16 members managed to sell
62 products within the first 2 weeks of marketing.
The Christmas Season: Christmas vastly approaching, our production floor was averaging 30-40 products per night due to
the high demand by consumers. With our company only meeting once a week, every Tuesday night it and with all the pre-sold
products we knew that balance of time was a key essence in order to make things more functional. However once our Christmas
ended, Pop.Co's sales has yet to fall as there is still an encore of high demand for our product.
Soon after Pop.Co had our first company board meeting, as Pop.Co announced new ideas and plans to create a new smoother
working area and new marketing ideas. Results will be posted sometime during the week.
Sales at this point continued on a consistent basis, as Pop.Co remained the top company and head role model for Cambridge
companies.
With 5 Weeks left to sell and produce more products, Pop.Co kicked it into HIGH GEAR.
The Closing of The Books: By the end Pop.Co had sold 357 products, selling everything that was produced. $3,305.71 was
made in sales.
At The Waterloo Region Award Banquet:
Pop.Co's goal was to make a huge statement as a Cambridge company. Pop.co knew they stood as the number one Cambridge
Company, and knew they had reached one of the highest success a Cambridge company ever accomplished. However at this banquet
it was time to see what the other nine companies in the city Kitchener had done. Pop.Co members and advisors walked around
the display table, with a shocked look on their faces.
Pop.co one of twelve companies in the Waterloo region, (one of three being in Cambridge).. Had placed 2nd overall in revenue
(standing only dollars of way from claiming first). However pop.co placed first in sales revenue.
As the formal event began, pop. co remained content as we talked, laughed and shared opinions on our company as-well as
thoughts on the kitcheners companies. Soon after, The Awards began.
COMPANY AWARDS: Pop. Co was remained shocked as the number one company in Waterloo region seemed to take the "Marketing
Company Of The Year". However the MAJOR EXCITMENT would come at the end.
POP.CO had captured: COMPANY OF THE YEAR 2006, leaving pop. co members and Cambridge members in general THRILLED and Excited.
Also Pop. Co had received: SHAREHOLDERS REPORT of The Year (composed by President Cheryl Strybosh).
INDIVDUAL AWARDS: With company recognition, always comes individual recognition. Pop.co highest seller Chantelle Cox would
first to be awarded.
